The city of Irvine, California is a very diverse when it comes to real estate with a nice mixture of residential homes, condos and townhouses. For the most part, tall hi-rise condo buildings are limited to the Airport Area of Irvine which borders the city of Newport Beach and located on the ocean side of the 5 freeway. Within a couple mile radius off Jamboree street is where you find the very tall hi-rise buildings in Irvine with a wide range of real estate prices and amenities.

The Marquee at Park Place is one of the most famous in Irvine due to it's dual towers that soar 18 levels into the city skyline. The most distinguishing feature of these buildings is the unique green or aqua color that was developed by the Bosa Development in 2006. The buildings offer a wide range of amenities that include a 24 hour concierge, swimming pool, fitness center and clubhouse. The buildings offer a gated entrance and parking for the upmost in security while offering a location that is ideally positioned near local retail stores, great restaurants like Houstons and California Pizza Kitchen and fitness centers like LA Fitness. Real Estate prices currently start at $570,000 for a 2 bedroom condo with 1,234 square feet and go up to $699,900 for a 2 bedroom condo with 1,367 square feet and panoramic views.

One of the most popular hi-rise buildings is "The Plaza" which is located just a short distance away from the Marquee building off Jamboree Road. The Plaza consists of 3 different buildings that are often referred to as 3000 The Plaza, 5000 The Plaza and 8000 The Plaza. There is long list of amenities found here which consist of a 24 hour concierge, large swimming pool and spa, clubhouse with recreational pool table and fitness center. There is a great roof top deck that offers great panoramic views and a favorite gathering place. Currently the lowest priced condo in the 5000 The Plaza building is for 2 bedroom, 2,131 square feet condo for $2,139,000. The 8000 building is currently much more affordable with a 2 bedroom, 1,430 square foot condo listed at $849,800. There are currently no active listings in the 3000 building but expect prices to start in the high $500,000 to low $600,000 range.
