The Stonegate area of Irvine is one of the newer communities that has been built since 2012 with singe family homes and residential townhouses. Another new community that is being built by KB Homes in the Stonegate area is the neighborhood of Palo Alto. Stonegate is an ideal location just north of the 5 freeway and close proximity to the 241 and 133 freeway. This means that commuting to work is very easy with 3 major freeways leading in different directions. All of these are master planned neighborhoods which mean that there may be homeowners association dues in additional to an additional Mello Roos tax.
