School is getting back in full swing and many students will be attending the University of California Irvine campus. The three bedroom condos are some of the most sought after since it's typical for several college students to split the rent to make it the most affordable to live here. Most rental owners will require a rental application that includes current credit scores and rental history. A security deposit is normally equal to one months rent and a pet deposit of $500 is customary for those who have pets.

For those looking to buy in this area expect to find two bedroom condos start in the low $400,000 range. With 20% down payment it could be cheaper to buy a home as interest rates are still very low and the ability to sell the unit after college has consummated is the best approach for those looking to invest their money versus paying rent. When doing calculations it's important to remember that all these neighborhoods due charge a homeowners association fee of around $300.00 to $400.00 a month. The Turtle Rock area also borders the campus rental prices starting at the $3,00 a month range. These are more traditional homes so expect real estate prices to be much higher than the University Town Center.
